Product Description The newest breakthrough in sharpening technology, the M130, presents all your sharpening options in one compact appliance. It professionally sharpens, steels or strops all brands and types of knives; straight edge or serrated, kitchen, Asian style, sports and pocket knives in seconds. Three stages make it possible to obtain a "better than factory" edge quickly and effortlessly. Stage 1, using 100% diamond abrasives, sharpens the edge. Stage 2 is a super-hardened miniature steel that develops a shaving sharp edge with ultra-sharp microscopic teeth, providing a superior edge "bite". In stage 3, a revolutionary flexible stropping disk polishes the edge to hair-splitting sharpness. Using these stages in different combinations produces custom edges, suited to a particular cutting task. Built-in, high precision, user friendly elastomeric angle guides guarantee fool-proof sharpening.

What a waste of $150.! December 28, 2008 I could have had my knives professionally sharpened several times over with the cost of this so called sharpener. Heck, I could have bought new knives. I thought it was me but my husband couldn't get this thing to sharpen any knife even a little bit. I could have used 200 grit sandpaper and it would have done a better job. I am very disapointed in this product because I read the reviews and thought I was purchasing a tool that I could use on a regular basis.
Simply the best! December 27, 2008 What can I say except if you want the sharpest knives in your kitchen, buy this!
Chef's Choice M130 is WORTHLESS JUNK December 25, 2008 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
The Chef's Choice M130 Professional Knife-Sharpening Station is probably not worth even 13 cents and it certainly is NOT worth $130.00. Don't waste your money on this over-hyped and worthless product. Most of the positive reviews are from employees of the company. It is cheaply built, noisy, and DOES NOT WORK. Anyone who gives this product a rating above over-priced junk is obviously being paid to do so.
Great machine so far, but get more input before final purchase. December 21, 2008 We like the sharpener so far. We did however, call the actual company to find out which sharpener was best for us. There are a variety of models to sharpen different things. Knives, scissors etc.
watch your fingers after you use this item. December 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am real big about knives being sharp, and I usually use the Lansky system or oil stones to get the job done, and I still use them for my pocket knives. I own some nice kitchen knives snd I was a little leary about using an electric sharpener on them. Not any more! The chef's choice works as advertised. It makes all your knives very sharp without scratching up the blade.Be sure to warn others in the household after using the chef's choice so they know to watch their fingers. Good product, good investment, glad I got it. One last thing, the chef's choice works really fast. What used to take me at least a couple of hours now only takes a few minutes.
